What is meant by hard & soft landscaping?

Hardscaping provides structure to your outdoor area and is a term used for the ‘non-growing’ elements in your landscape design. Hardscaping structures include; decks, pergolas, retaining walls, fences, pathways and any other custom-built feature for your outdoor living space.

Softscaping is everything to do with planting. Where hardscaping provides the structure, the job of plants is to soften the landscape, and includes lawns, trees, bulbs, flowers and shrubs.

What is the best time of Year for Landscaping Projects

Most landscaping works can be carried out at any time of year. While bad weather can impact projects at times, we are usually able to complete jobs to our planned timeframe and will keep you informed of progress and timing throughout the job. If you have a young family you may not want your yard under construction during the summer holidays.

How can landscaping add value to my property?

Investing in quality landscaping not only improves curb appeal but also increases property value by creating functional outdoor spaces.

Can I landscape my yard in stages to spread out the cost?

Yes. If you are planning on revamping the whole yard but completing the work in stages, we can help you plan and prioritise the jobs to ensure each project flows well in preparation for the next stage. We can also guide you on your budget, bearing in mind the cost of materials may change depending on the timeframe between jobs.
